Vilmos Vass

Vilmos Vass, college professor, habilitated associate professor, teacher of Hungarian Literature, Language, History and Pedagogy, has been teaching in public and higher education for 44 years. Member of the board of several national and international organisations. 2004-2010 expert of the European Union Key Competence Cluster. He led the revision of the National Curriculum and the Implementation Council in 2003 and 2007. Current position: Institute of Social Sciences and International Studies, Faculty of Business, Communication and Tourism, Budapest Metropolitan University. Lecturer at several universities in Hungary and abroad. Lecturer in the Doctoral Programme in Education and Cultural Studies at the University of Debrecen. Head of the Doctoral School of Education and Society, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Pécs. Author of more than 200 publications in Hungarian and foreign languages. Member of the Editorial Board of nearly 20 national and international journals. Research interests: creative knowledge transfer, competence development, learning-centred curriculum development.
